our noons our nights
our bodies spilled together
sleeping
the tiny flowing currents
immediate and forever
your leg my leg

If only tonight we could sleep. (by Elif Sanem Karakoc)
It’s enough for me to be sure that you and I exist at this moment.

b00z3:

nostalgia is what I feel when I think of this time last year.
the first time all over again,
with new kisses and new places to touch
with our hands and our tongues.
I remember how it felt to feel you all over me,
not an inch of my body cold.
I remember how you tugged at my lips with your teeth,
and opened your eyes as you swooped back in.
the look said
something you could never say out loud.

I’ve been craving it since that night.

tonight, we’re strangers.
I’m bruised,
and you’ve moved on
and created new dates to remember.

do you remember tonight?
we could not be more distanced and apart.

I have been waiting all my life to be with you. My heart slams against my ribs when I think of the slaughtered nights I spent all over the world waiting to feel your touch. The time I annihilated while I waited like a man doing a life sentence. Now you’re here and everything we touch explodes, bursts into bloom or burns to ash. History atomizes and negates itself with our every shared breath. I need you like life needs life. I want you bad like a natural disaster. You are all I see. You are the only one I want to know.

Self Portrait Four by E/\/\ILIO on Flickr.
I will remember your small room, the feel of you, the light in the window, your records, your books, our morning coffee, our noons, our nights, our bodies spilled together, sleeping, the tiny flowing currents, immediate and forever. Your leg, my leg, your arm, my arm, your smile and the warmth of you who made me laugh again.
